Tynomai are members of the weasel family, also called mustelids. Their society is highly organized and they tend to be rather reclusive compared to the other sentients as they are rarely found outside of Flumeri.

On a whole the Tynomai don't have much tolerance for Humans, predominantly due to the initial experience the species had with them. Aside from a slight prejudos towards Humans the Tynomai have pretty good, though loose, relationd with the other sentients, even the Shamien and Shabenay who are generally ignored (or in the Shabenay's case, hunted) by the rest.
