The Amrea are the second oldest sentient race on Kashian. They are classified as theropods and as such place amung dinosaurs like T-Rex and Velaciraptor. The Amrea are a pretty sharp race, though haven't progressed much in the ways of technology. This is predominantly due to their rather nomadic lifestyle, but this doesn't mean that they aren't intelligent. Amrea vary in size from as small as 4' to as large as 7'6." Despite the dramatic difference in height, the Amrea share much in common with each other. All have the capacity to grow feathers for insullation (the smallest, Keilt, carrying a coat of feathers at all times). They also share a peculiar tooth and jaw structure. The front third of the mouth houses a powerful beak capable of ripping and shreding with relative ease, where the rest contains a respectible set of teeth geared towards chewing flesh into more swallowable sizes (Amrea will eat vegitation when necessary, but are very much carnivorous). Their relations with the other sentients is rather sketchy. Amrea have often been found fighting alongside others as mercenaries, being rather formitable when properly trained. There are a few colonies of Amrea on the other continents, but most keep relatively close to home on Chmairah. |
