The seventh and final drawing in my "concentration" for Life Drawing II. We had to create a body of work that was united in some way, I chose to explore the expressive line work that started out as idle doodling and developed it further.

The model for this piece kept moving every couple of minutes, which made work much slower than it could have been. Not to say I need a model to sit stock-still, but it would be nice to have the pose held for more than two minutes before it's disrupted by the model stretching, twitching, scratching his head, etc.

Ink and wash on watercolor paper approx. 15" x 20".
